(5. Januar 2025) Im Rahmen der Jahreshauptversammlung der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Markdorf wurde Tobias Lumb von B\u00fcrgermeister Georg Riedmann zum neuen Kommandanten der Feuerwehr ernannt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tobias Lumb folgt Daniel Kneule, der das Amt des Gesamtkommandanten zehn Jahre ehrenamtlich innehatte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Da das Arbeitsaufkommen f\u00fcr Leiter einer Feuerwehr in den letzten Jahren immer gr\u00f6\u00dfer geworden ist und diese T\u00e4tigkeit kaum mehr nebenberuflich im Ehrenamt zu leisten war, hat auch der Feuerwehrbedarfsplan als Gutachten eine Stelle f\u00fcr einen hauptberuflichen kommandanten f\u00fcr die Feuerwehr Markdorf vorgesehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dies wurde dem Gemeinderat im vergangenen Jahr so zur Abstimmung \u00fcbergeben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ein Gremium innerhalb der Feuerwehr erarbeitete darauf hin einen Anforderungskatalog an eine Stelle f\u00fcr einen hauptamtlichen Kommandanten und es wurden Informationsgespr\u00e4che mit anderen Feuerwehren und mit dem Landratsamt gehalten. Aus dieser Vorarbeit und gewonnenen Erkenntnissen erstellte die Stadt Markdorf daraufhin eine Stellenbeschreibung und eine Auschreibung zu der es schliesslich 12 Bewerbungen gab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach den Vorstellungsgespr\u00e4chen mit Vertretern der Stadt, sowie mit Vertretern des Feuerwehrausschusses, empfahl der Feuerwehrausschu\u00df dem Gemeinderat, sich f\u00fcr Tobias Lumb als zuk\u00fcnftigen Leiter der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Markdorf im Hauptberuf zu entscheiden, was auch so geschah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seit 1. Januar ist Tobias Lumb nun Mitarbeiter der Stadt Markdorf und hauptberuflicher Feuerwehrkommandant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lumb ist 46 jahre alt und war zuletzt ehrenamtlicher Kommandant der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Messkirch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
